Viola Frymann Study Group
The Viola Frymann Study Group is an osteopathic-oriented study group named after Dr. Frymann, an internationally acclaimed osteopath who died recently on the 23rd January 2016 at the age of 94.
Originally a student of Dr. Sutherland, Dr Frymann dedicated the entirety of her personal and professional life to osteopathy, as a teacher of both Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and of the applications of osteopathy to pediatrics.
The study group was conceived in Spring 2016 to meet the requests of students interested in deepening their knowledge of anatomy and in the further development of palpatory skills that are integral to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field.
Thanks to the availability of a handful of teachers willing to dedicate their time to the project, the group begins to take form on the 24th of April 2016, when asked about such a study group, Hollis King D.O. who is carrying on Dr Frymann's work, encouraged us all to "Go for it!".
The objective of the Viola Frymann Study Group is to bring together students and osteopaths interested in learning and mastering cranio-sacral osteopathy in accordance with the teachings of Dr Frymann.
